Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, has been in the limelight for a long time now. However, she never had an official portrait until few days ago.

A lot has critique the portrait by Paul Emsley. As what I've read on the newspaper yesterday, there are more negative comments. I read one said that Kate seems to gain an additional 20 years and 20 more pounds on the portrait. Well, that is of course in opposition of the fact that she has a young and slender body despite her pregnancy now. Another said she looks like a Twilight actress here (in a negative way). #likeomg

Whether or not people like Kate's first official portrait, it doesn't change that the Duchess knows how to carry herself well. The following photos prove so. :)

A portrait is a representation of something or someone in the form of art. It tells something about an artist's subject--- good or bad. However, the beauty of an artwork varies on each person as beauty is in the eye of the beholder. So, what can you say of Paul Emsley's work?
Definitely,
