Partying is always fun when the music's upbeat and modish. It's all about being carefree and having fun!

Popular music changes in a snap of a finger. Of course, there are exceptions. Songs catching the hearts of party people remain in the top list of DJs for quite a period of time. Nowadays, the songs of Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Nicki Minaj, Will.iam and Swedish House Mafia among others top not only the party clubs in and out of the country but also the Billboard Chart.
Lately, I am very much into the songs of Swedish House Mafia (SHM), a trio of Swedish disc jockeys and producers officially formed in late 2008. The supergroup is composed of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group produces electronic dance music. The group's popular singles are Save the World and Don't You Worry Child.

I am a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), but I don't consider myself as a CPA (Certified Party Animal). Haha. Although there are people saying I am otherwise, I guess it's a bit relative on who I'm with. I have friends who party so hard and so crazy, and it is them whom I consider party animals! Hahaha. ;) On the other hand, I do have friends who are not really into partying (clubbing), and yes when I'm with them, I may seem to be a CPA (the second definition). It really is relative. Nevertheless, I really like dancing to the beat of music when I'm at a party. I can't help it! When I hear party songs, my body system becomes more active, and I just want to dance! Even when I'm at home playing loud music, I dance. Well, I'm not saying though that I'm a good dancer; I just really want to dance when I hear party songs at home or in a party bar. At times, my brother and sister would see me dancing at home. Other times, my parents would also notice me dancing to the beat of the party songs. Grabe lang. Hehe. But, it's not on a regular basis... There are just times I really feel like dancing. Sometimes, my sister would even join me! :)

So yes... I love party music, and lately I've really been addicted to SHM's songs Save the World and Don't You Worry Child. Seriously... These songs keep playing in my head. Since I got broken-hearted for not being able to watch SHM's One Last Tour concert last January 16, I just indulged myself by listening and watching the group's music videos. Furthermore, I watched some good covers. Here are the videos I got.
Save the World is released in 2011, and it is still popular in the party clubs now.
Don't You Worry Child is released in 2012. It has been part of Billboard Chart's Hot 100, and as of the end of this week, it ranks number seven.

No doubt, life is boring without music! On the other hand, music is meaningless if listeners couldn't connect to it, and when it comes to clubbing, party goers want the songs to be hip and lively. Yes, partying comes with the right music. Since Swedish House Mafia produces upbeat and modish songs, it's fun to party to the beat of SHM!
Definitely,

ReplyDeleteYes, SHM's songs are definitely party music! Thanks Natasha! :)
ReplyDeleteI dont have much time to read blogs but I am really glad that I have come across this one. I'm mad about EDM, I love SHM, every track is a smasher. Axwell is my favourite among the 3 of them. :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, that is amazing! Love EDM too! Glad you dropped by. ;)
